New iPhone SE in disgrace loses iPhone 8 in real test
The site of GSM Arena published the results of endurance tests of the new iPhone SE smartphone, which, to the surprise of many, lost to the much older iPhone 8 model, which uses a less energy-efficient single-chip system.
So, the new iPhone SE at full charge allows you to make calls on 3G networks up to 10 hours, provides almost 9 hours of video playback, while the total battery life with an average level of use of all functions is 59 hours.
For comparison, the iPhone 8, which was released in 2017, allows you to talk with a full charge of almost 12.5 hours, watch videos up to 10.5 hours, and the total battery life is 66 hours.
This is a rather unexpected result, given that Apple officially declares that the battery life of the iPhone SE is approximately equivalent to that of iPhone 8, since the first battery has even a slightly larger capacity (1821 versus 1751 mAh).
